1 cup packed brown sugar
Combine brown sugar, corn syrup. butter and salt in a heavy saucepan; bring to a boil. Boil mixture for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat; stir in baking soda and caramel flavor. Place popcorn in large roasting pan and pour caramel mixture overtop; mixing lightly. Bake at 225 degrees (F) for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Spread on cookie sheet to cool.
