STEAK AU POIVRE

2-3 pounds T-bone or other steak (1-1/2 inches thick)
2 tsp. Watkins Cracked Black Pepper
1/2 tsp. salt, if desired
1/8 tsp. Watkins Onion Powder
1/8 tsp. Watkins Garlic Powder

Trim fat from steak; slash edges. Combine remaining ingredients and sprinkle over each side of steak, pressing down firmly with hand or spatula. Let stand for 30 minutes. Cook 4-5 inches from coals or broiler until done to taste. Cut into serving-size pieces and serve at once.
